The team
- Buggy 1 – Michel Turon-Barrere (Fra) & Jean-Marc Monbieg (Fra)
- Bremont Buggy – Mark Dutton (UK) & Troels Henriksen (Den)
- Toyota HDJ80 – Joël Clevenot (Fra) & Jean-Marc Ayala (Fra)
- Heavy Truck – Yann Clevenot (Fra), Michel Etchecobar (Fra) & Frank Puchouau (Fra)
- Santana Assistance – Gérard Chanoine (team manager) (Fra) & Jérome Hardy (Fra)
- Fast assistance truck - Jérome Rivière
- Administration, Marketing & Communication - Eric Sidobre
The Bremont Buggy is racing with Team Omega. This will be Omega's 3rd Dakar in a row. In 2006 things came to an abrupt end in Stage 7 when they drove the car down a well whilst on the Liason stage at the end of the day - very frustrating. BUT in 2007 they finished - both the Buggy and the Toyota - albeit that an engine problem forced them to do most of the race at 50% power - but they did it.
They are very confident of a strong finish and have put together 2 tremendous cars incorporating all of their learnings from the last 2 outings.

Finally Troels gets the Blog under way
After a great team visit to Pau last weekend where we (Mark, Chris and I) met up with the whole team - Michel, Jean-Marc, Joel Frank, Eric, Yann, Michel 2, Gerard (didn't actually meet him but..) I finally got round to sorting out our Blog.
The Buggy's are looking great !!
See all the pictures
Actually they are just being stripped down for one last overhaul before being sent off to Lisbon. Here is what they are going to look like when they are all done up.
Then on Wednesday Mark & I (with some dodgy bloke from the Olympics with no passport!!) were in Paris for the Big Launch of the Route. Great day topped off with lunch at Relais de Venice.
